PEA Workshop: Hylomorphism and Its Applications

Dove e quando

Aula 2, Via Balbi 2, Genova

Monday, 6 July 2026

A one-day workshop on hylomorphism and its applications across different ontological domains.

The workshop is intended to promote interaction between researchers working on general hylomorphic accounts, such as Kit Fine’s embodiment theory, and scholars working on their application across a range of ontological domains, including concepts, groups and collectives, and artworks. By encouraging such interaction, the overarching goal of the workshop is to foster theoretically integrated approaches and stimulate new lines of research in both foundational theory and domain-specific applications.
