Objects and Interactions: A Plea for Ontological Pluralism

ABSTRACT
Too often, interactions are analyzed and explained in terms of the properties and behaviors of the objects interacting. I argue that, in at least some cases, interactions cannot be reduced away and ought, therefore, to be admitted as full-fledged members of a scientific ontology
